From Monday 9th January to Thursday 29th March inclusive services will only operate between Brockenhurst and Lymington Town. A replacement Bus service will operate between Lymington Town and Lymington Pier. This is due to Wightlink carrying out work at Lymington Pier.

Following safety checks being made at Fratton all lines have now reopened.

Train services running through this station may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 mins or revised at short notice. Disruption is expected until 15:00 04/02.
Customer Advice:
We have just heard from Engineers on site, and reports are that the line is now open for all electric train to run as booked.
Delays and alterations will still occur for a while, due to stock and crews being out of place.

Local Buses will accept Rail tickets between Portsmouth and Cosham, Southern and First Great western will Pass South West Trains customers any Reasonable route.
Rail replacement Buses will also operate in the local Area to supplement rail shuttles where required.

At Earlsfield station.
Station Improvements
Additional Information:
Due to station improvement works at this station, a temporary entrance and exit is currently in operation. This is situated at the opposite end of platform three to the usual entry/exit point. A temporary footbridge is also in operation at this end of the platform. Please allow extra time for either boarding a train or leaving the station. South West Trains and Network Rail apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

At Fratton station.
The station is now open following safety checks having been made earlier.

At Vauxhall station.
Station Improvement Work
Additional Information:
As part of a station improvement project which includes the installation of lifts to give step free access to the platforms, Vauxhall station will be affected by building work until April 2012. The subway capacity will be reduced during this building work.
From Monday 21 November, the Underground entrance adjacent to the station will be closed until April 2012. During this time, the Underground station will be accessible via a one-way system. The entrance in the Bus Station will be entry only and exit will be via St Georges Wharf. Customers may find it easier to change to and from the Underground at Waterloo in both morning and evening peaks.

At Wimbledon station.

Additional Information:
As part of a Station improvement project, the Lifts to Platforms 7/8 (SWT Southbound) and Platforms 1-4 (District Line Underground) are being replaced. This will commence 3rd January 2012 and Scheduled to be completed by 31st March 2012
Passengers travelling from London Waterloo and Vauxhall will be required to travel to Clapham Junction. alternative road transport will be arranged to continue to Wimbledon. Passengers travelling southbound from Wimbledon should travel to Clapham Junction and change. Customers are strongly advised to pre-book where possible to avoid extended journey times/delay.
Passengers requiring step free access to/from the District Line platforms will be able to via the emergency exit route at the side of the station.
